Verified by NPC

Verify yours

Start verification of your own work.

Registration is how verification starts. Register a piece of your work, or an agent you run, and NPC issues a signed record with its own NPC ID on the spot, at the status registered, checks pending. Registration is not verification, and no verification mark comes with it.

Registration is free, and every registration is issued as a signed NPC record with its own ID, on the spot.

Register a piece of work

Give the work a title, its kind, and where it can be found: a web address, or its content hash if you already have one. For a file at a web address, the first checks can run as you register: a read of any Content Credentials in the file with cryptographic validation when a manifest is present, the AI image check on images, and the container facts on audio and video. What ran, and what has not run yet, is written into the record itself.

Your email ties the registration to you and keeps submissions fair. It is never published in the record.

Register an agent

Every agent in the registry has a named owner who is accountable for it. Registration is free. The signed record covers the registration itself. Verification is a separate step that follows: the checks run against the agent, and the record is updated when they complete. Until then, the record shows the agent as registered, checks pending.

After you register

Your record lives in Search under its NPC ID, next to every other record, and anyone you share the ID with can pull it up. How it works explains how to read a record and what happens as the remaining checks run.
